A Warming World

Warming Stripes (2018) by Ed Hawkins

The climate issue

These stripes are making appearances everywhere! From our government Representatives to newspapers & magazines. These stripes simply represent climate change from 1850-2020 (left to right) with each stripe representing the temperature for that year. As you know with recent disasters like extreme Australia fires, glaciers melting, and the temperature changes we are all currently witnessing around the world, the issue is putting pressure on political leaders to speak up and take action. As our world continues to change and these issues become more real by the minute, it's so important that we stay aware and continue to keep these conversations alive amongst our peers/community as well as our lawmakers. We all have a voice, how are you expressing yours?
